Workshops about CV and job interview / Talleres sobre CV y entrevista de trabajo

On 28th April we vistited the Middle School in Wiączyń Dolny. We spend there about 6 hours and we were with 3 different groups. For them we organized workshops about CV and job interview. We also talked to them about the EVS program. They were really really nice with us and they seemed very interested so we hope that now, they know more about European Voluntary Service and, also, they are better prepared for their future job searches.

El 28 de abril visitamos la Escuela de secundaria en Wiączyń Dolny. Pasamos allí unas 6 horas y estuvimos con 3 grupos diferentes. Para los y las estudiantes organizamos talleres sobre CV y la entrevista de trabajo. También les hablamos sobre el programa de EVS. Todo los grupos fueron muy muy agradables con nosotros y parecían muy interesados/as así que esperamos que, ahora, sepan más sobre el Servicio de Voluntariado Europeo y, también, que estén mejor preparados/as para sus futuras búsquedas de trabajo.

Polish-Spanish Day of the Sport / Día del deporte Polaco-Español

It isn’t the end of news about our project! On 26th of April we helped in the organization of the Polish – Spanish Day of Sport. We took care of searching Spanish music for the whole event and we were commenting the matches in Spanish. We also had the chance to play volleyball with other European volunteers although we couldn’t win The Cup of EVS Volunteers 😦 There were really good teams in the competition! This day there were also volleyball for mixed teams, football tournament, tournament of volleyball for children and petanque.
It was a really great day even when we didn’t have much luck with the weather 😉

¡No es el fin de las noticias sobre nuestro proyecto! El 26 de abril ayudamos en la organización del Día del deporte Polaco-Español. Nos encargamos de buscar música en español para todo el evento y estuvimos haciendo de comentaristas de los partidos, en español! También tuvimos la oportunidad de jugar al volley junto con otros EVS voluntarios y voluntarias, aunque no pudimos hacernos con la «Copa de los EVS» :(. ¡Había equipos realmente buenos en la competición! Ese día hubo también volley para equipos mixtos, torneo de fútbol, torneo de volley para niños y niñas y petanca.

Fue un día realmente genial incluso cuando no tuvimos mucha suerte con el tiempo 😉

International workshops «Be open, be creative» / Talleres internacionales «Sé abierto, sé creativo»

On 17th April we organized an international even in our center GPCKiE: the workshops «Be open, be creative». We were working with young people from Poland and other EVS volunteers from Serbia, Ukraine, Romania, France and Georgia. Thanks to our guests, these volunteers from FERSO organisation we had a really inernational day! And, in the first part of the workshops we could talk about Easter traditions from different European countries. And, also, eat some delicious cakes 😛

In the second part, there were lots of creative tasks to do! We wanted to test the creativity and determination of our participants and they didn’t disappointed us because they made all the challenges very well! 😀

El 17 de abril organizamos un evento internacional en nuestro centro GPCKiE: los talleres «Be open, be creative». Estuvimos trabajando con jóvenes de Polonia y otros EVS voluntarios y voluntarias de Serbia, Ukrania, Rumanía, Francia y Georgia. Gracias a nuestros invitados, estos voluntarios/as de la organización FERSO tuvimos un gran día internacional! Y, en ña primera parte de los talleres pudimos hablar sobre las tradiciones de Semana Santa en diferentes países de Europa. Y, también, comer deliciosos pasteles 😛

En la segunda parte, hubo muchas actividades relacionadas con la creatividad. Queríamos poner a prueba la creatividad y determinación de nuestros/as participantes y no nos decepcionaros porque completaron todos los desafíos muy bien! 😀

Visiting kindergarten «ECO-HUMAN» / Visitamos la guardería «ECO-HUMAN»

On 15th April we visited kindergarten «ECO-HUMAN». We made workshops with children between 4 and 6 years and we taught them colours, numbers and a song about animals. Once again, we had a lot of fun and, furthermore, the kindergarten is a really beautiful place! 🙂

El 15 de abril fuimos a la guardería «Eco-Human». Hicimos talleres con niños y niñas de entre 4 y 6 años y les enseñamos los colores, los números y una canción sobre animales. Una vez más, fue muy divertido y, además, ¡la guardería es preciosa! 🙂

Spring and Easter III / Primavera y Semana Santa III

And finally the last workshop took place in the «Community Center of Culture and Ecology» in Plichtów or what is the same, our center «GPCKiE». But before the workshop, we enjoyed a traditional Easter meal with some of the workers of the center, it was all delicious!

In the afternoon, once again, we enjoyed a lot the workshops and finally we had a big surprise … Although we were celebrating spring it seemed it was winter again because everything turned white again O_O

Y finalmente, el último taller lo realizamos en el «Centro Comunitario de Cultura y Ecología» en Plichtów o, lo que es lo mismo, nuestro centro «GPCKiE». Aunque primero disfrutamos de una comida tradicional de Pascua con algunos de los trabajadores del centro, estaba todo delicioso!

Por la tarde, una vez más, disfrutamos un montón los talleres y finalmente tuvimos una gran sorpresa… estábamos celebrando la primavera pero parecía que fuese invierno otra vez porque todo se puso blanco de nuevo O_O

Spring and Easter II / Primavera y Semana Santa II

We continued with the workshops of Spring and Easter. On 2th April in the morning, we visited the Community Clubhouse in Kalonka and this time we had a large group of kids so we had a fantastic morning. 🙂

Continuando con los talleres de primavera y Semana Santa, la siguiente visita la hicimos, el 2 de abril por la mañana, al Centro Comunitario de Kalonka y esta vez tuvimos un gran grupo de niños y niñas así que pasamos una fantástica mañana. 🙂

SPRING AND EASTER/ PRIMAVERA Y SEMANA SANTA

It seems that the weather is going to improve in Poland! Spring is coming and also Easter, so our task was to organize activities related thereto. First we went to a daycare center called «Club Watchtower», where we do some fun games related to Easter.

Our next workshop about spring and Easter took place in a Community Clubhouse. There we met with young people and exchanged views on the differences between Easter in Poland and Spain. 🙂

Parece que el tiempo va mejorando en Polonia! Se acerca la primavera y también Semana Santa, por lo que nuestra tarea fue organizar actividades relacionadas con ello. Primero fuimos a una guarderia infantil llamada «Club Watchtower», donde realizamos algunos divertidos juegos relacionados con la Semana Santa.

Nuestro próximo taller sobre la primavera y la pascua tuvo lugar en un club social. Allí nos reunimos con gente joven e intercambiamos opiniones sobre las diferencias entre la Pascua en Polonia y en España. 🙂

MNEMONIC STRATEGIES!/ ESTRATEGIAS MNEMOTÉCNICAS!

The last Friday of March we did something a little different but also very interesting! We learned with more young people from the community some methods and mnemonic rules always effective for the learning process. We also had the opportunity to check ability of quickness and eficiency of learning. 😀

El último viernes de marzo hicimos algo un poco diferente pero tambien muy interesante! Aprendimos junto con más jóvenes de la comunidad algunos métodos y reglas mnemotécnicas, siempre efectivas para el proceso de aprendizaje. Además tuvimos la oportunidad de poner a prueba nuestra rapidez mental y capacidaz de aprendizaje. 😀

UNEMPLOYMENT WORKSHOPS/ TALLER SOBRE EL DESEMPLEO

Finally the winter break were finished, and on 13th March we organized workshops for young people about unemployment. We’ve talked about reasons and results of unemployment. Workshops were connected with discussion about alternative ways and searching for new solutions 🙂 And like always, we spent a good time together and we have fun 😀

Finalmente las vacaciones de invierno se terminaron, y todo volvio a la normalidad. El 13 de marzo organizamos unos talleres para la gente joven relacionados con el desempleo. En ese tiempo estuvimos hablando sobre las posibles razones y consequencias del desempleo. Pero no solo hablamos sobre los posibles motivos, sino que todos juntos intentamos buscar alternativas y nuevas soluciones 🙂 Y como siempre, pasamos un buen rato juntos y nos divertimos! 😀

Carnival and Valentine Day / Carnavales y día de San Valentín

Every year, on the last Friday of Winter Break it is organized a ball for children but, also, this year coincided with Valentine Day and with our stay at the GPCKiE so this year we had a great carnival – valentine ball in latino style on 13th of February! With the participation of both children and older 😀

During the party people could decorate letters and valentines cards and put them into special letter box until the end of the day when these would be distributed. There were food, music, games, laughter and good atmosphere throughout the day. Furthermore, we taught them some choreographies to dance all together and we painted the faces of many children 🙂

Cada año el último viernes del Winter Break se organiza una fiesta de carnaval para los niños/as pero además este año coincidió con San Valentín y con nuestra estancia en el GPCKiE así que ¡se organizó una fiesta de Carnaval-San Valentín con estilo latino por todo lo alto el 13 de febrero! En la que participaron tanto los niños/as como los/las más mayores 😀

Durante la fiesta había postales y cartas que se podían decorar y depositar dentro del buzón especial y que se repartirían al final del día. Hubo comida, música, juegos, risas y buen ambiente durante todo el día. Además les enseñamos un par de coreografías para bailarlas todos juntos y pintamos las caritas de muchos de los niños y niñas. 🙂
